How to drive engagement
▪️ Facebooks algorithm is designed to favour posts that are getting higher amounts of engagement in a short space of time. This means they will show it to more of your followers, which really is important when a business post on Facebook is only shown to an average of 8% of its following.
▪️ One of the best ways to do this is to ensure you are thinking about your copy and how you can spark debate or conversation in the comments.
▪️ ASK a question that is relevant to the post you are making. Find creative ways to do this, an example being: ‘Do you prefer the wheels in the first or second image?’. Your audience will feel valued if you are asking for their thoughts/opinions!
To put it into perspective, we split test two of the same posts with slightly different ad copy.
1️⃣ Post without a question: 20 likes, 2 comments.
2️⃣ Post with a question: 535 likes, 55 comments.
Sounds simple, but you would be surprised how many businesses never utilise simple questioning on social!

▪️Optimise your headlines, so they are eye catching. One way to do this is by including emojis and use short, punchy and attention grabbing words.
▪️Finally, run Instagram story swipe up ads, to drive people to your pages! Explain what value you are offering and why they should see what the fuss is about.
